Small Boats Camp

We're happy to announce that Wild Goose Rowing Camp will now focus mostly on small boats for experienced rowers.  We're going to have a number of pairs and will spend most of the week in those boats.  As far as we know we're the only week-long camp that will emphasize small boats over the eights.

The smaller the boat, the more technical a rower has to be.  There is immediate feedback in a pair for a rower.  If you make a mistake, you and your boat partner know it right away.  The better you row, the faster the boat moves.  It's not always how hard you pull.  You need to have technical skills in a pair in order to row it right.  In an 8 you can sometimes get away with being a little rough technically.  Row a pair for a while, and when you get back into an 8 you'll be able to move the boat more effectively and PULL HARDER during a race.

Join us this summer and learn how a boat feels and how you can really apply power.  Spots are limited, sign up today!
